This design is based on the idea of devising a font that is composed of a limited number of basic modules. These elements can be freely coupled to each other. This makes it possible to create an unlimited number of other characters, ornaments or illustrations in addition to the actual letters. The font ZTF Richard is used in the cookbook Vis de Vega which was designed by Studio Laucke Siebein.
The later resulting font design HSD Sans is also based on this principle. The HSD Sans, with its eight styles, is the main component of the new corporate design developed by us for the University of Applied Science Düsseldorf which will be opened in May 2015.
