Tool

By tool in this context we mean that design is not only the goal but also a means to achieve the goal. Of course, there is always a talk at the beginning. For example, to formulate the mission and lead to a concept proposal, to make process suggestions and exchange knowledge. But the spoken language is only suitable to a limited extent for communicating about (future) images. That is why we start early in the process with the visualization of what we have produced in the conversation. In this way we can show what has been said, compare competing statements and narratives. Design is a tool to gain knowledge.
